This role will be part of a fast-paced team of strategists, technologists and clinicians that are passionate about improving healthcare and making the best digital health technologies available to members. This is an opportunity to be part of building a high-priority product from the ground up and quickly scaling it to Anthem’s member-base. As a core team member, you will be part of the team responsible for Strategy and Partnership related activities for Anthem’s new Digital Front Door.
Primary duties include, but not limited to:
Identifying and evaluating potential partnerships with Anthem lines of businesses and external plan customers
Evolving our commercialization strategy based on market trends and partner feedback
Driving go-to-market operations including owning the plan for key marketing materials / approvals and coordinating across large teams
Engaging senior leaders in discussions, with the ability to actively shape conversations into meaningful partnerships
manage and update project plan
partners with sponsors to secure project approval
develops communication management plan and executes upon it
develops deployment plan
leads project meetings
maintains issue log; facilitates resolution of issues
provides input and for team members managing and monitors ROI throughout the project lifecycle
Acting as the voice of the customer in product conversations
Supporting business development for the product including curation of materials, development of pricing strategy for the long-term product and support of RFPs
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years project management experience in broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications and/or data warehouse planning and development with 2 years spent working in a lead role on one or more projects; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Requires experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization
Requires experience working with project management tools, documentation tools, and reporting tools required. Experience working with portfolio management applications and Rational tools strongly preferred
Highly Preferred Skills :
4+ years of experience in consulting, healthcare, or technology partnerships (or equivalent degree)
Strong organizational skills
Basic understanding of healthcare including health plan metrics and what drives value
Ability to problem solve and navigate with ambiguity
Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence key stakeholders
Experience taking product from ideation through production
Financial modeling skills are preferred
