Location: This is a Work-At-Home position. The selected candidate can reside in any State.

The Marketing Analyst, Advanced Analytics e mploys advanced analytics to gain critical insights to improve strategic marketing, including member behavior drivers and preferences, product/program concepts and value propositions, operational effectiveness and efficiencies, client specific health gaps and needs, and marketing attribution and modeling. This person is responsible for utilizing a variety of tools and analytic methodologies with the goal of identifying key insights and recommending strategies to achieve both consumer/member and business objectives. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Sources data from various systems, transforms/manipulates data in order to perform analysis and diagnosis of member profiles and opportunity assessments, develop user-friendly marketing and consumer dashboards and tools for stakeholders

  • Performs established analysis for routine diagnoses of consumer marketing, quality, use, cost, and other variables for opportunity assessments, including deep-dive member/audience profiling and opportunities

  • Executes identification and stratification algorithms to identify and select the right members for the targeted solution

  • Develops the technical definition of outcome metrics to assess outcomes for our consumers, our members, and our business

  • Performs defined analyses to assess proper outcome metrics for various programs/initiative

  • Builds, tests, and validates statistical models

  • Contributes to research and publications by performing basic analyses, preparing data, documenting results, and synthesizing insights

  • Understands the pitfalls and limitations with analyzing practical data and the ability to ensure data and analysis quality

  • Has basic knowledge of common analytical methods such as profiling a customer segment, experimental design and regression analysis

  • Defines and solves well defined analytical problems independently

  • Delivers assignment/projects timely and accurately

  • Collaborates with multiple partners, including other analytical team members, research and data science partners effectively

  • Presents analyses effectively to multiple audience levels

  • Possess strong intellectual curiosity and motivated to master analytical skills.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires MS, MA, or PhD with a concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, Engineering, Computer Science or Operations Research; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience with SAS or equivalents analytical tools; working experience with Teradata, SQL, or equivalent database tools and up to 3 years direct experience applying statistical/analytical tools to solve research/practical problems with some exposure to health care or related fields preferable.

  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to master analytical skills are strongly preferred

  • 0-3 years direct experience applying statistical/analytical tools to solve research/practical problems

  • Experience working in an analytic marketing capacity, including campaign reporting or modeling

  • Expertise with analytical tools and statistical software such as Python, R, SAS, SPSS, SQL, Teradata, or equivalent database tools

  • Expertise with data visualization platforms: Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Microstrategy, etc.

  • Expertise in campaign performance reporting and working across various cross-functional data and strategy teams to create reporting End-To-End

  • Experience working on/with marketing data platforms such as Adobe Analytics, GMP (Google Marketing Platform), Marin/Kenshoo, Salesforce, etc.

  • Solid understanding marketing integration between CRM, Direct, Social media, Search, Paid Media, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to help articulate customer and business needs

  • Experience continuously leading and re-prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

  • Must be a critical thinker capable of producing applied insights and problem-solving

  • Must be a self-starter and quick learner with the desire to learn new tools and techniques

  • Must have structured thinking to synthesize analytic findings (both verbally and written) into actionable strategic recommendation

    Annual Salary Range*: $72,156 - $90,195

    Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
