Provider Collaboration Manager-Managed Care Contracting
Location: Remote opportunity-New York City, NY. Other Eastern locations may be considered.
The Provider Collaboration Manager is responsible for assisting with value-based contracting, meetings and relationships with Health systems/Providers. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction in providing operational and administrative support for the implementation, auditing and resolution of loading issues for payment innovation programs .
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provides support with in-depth knowledge of Value based Managed Care provider agreements , including contracting terms and language components.
Leads and/oressentialteam member providing assistance with provider value-based contract negotiations.
Communicates with providers regarding specific value-based contracting language revisions to complete the agreements.
Ability to navigate financial
Obtains and analyzes financial performance and quality metrics.
Supports and facilitates value based JOCs (Joint Operating Committee meetings).
Develops and maintains contact database and disseminates communications to providers as necessary.
Aggregates and analyzes provider data form various sources to recommend and implement solutions to assist with provider collaboration activities.
Collaborates with provider contractors and network relations representatives to meet provider service needs.
Encourages providers to act on patient outreach opportunities.
Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
Requires a BA/BS degree; 3 years’ experience in data base maintenance related to health care; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Provider environment experience preferred.
Managed Care value based contracting experience
Working knowledge of value-based care contracting and payment innovation initiatives
Knowledge of value-based verses fee-for-service contracts and contract language
Experience with Commercial and Government lines of business
Excellent organizational skills
MS Office proficiency
Project Management skills-end to end
