Location: Remote based

The Registered Dietitian is responsible for planning and conducting telephonic consultations to educate patients about nutrition and administering medical nutrition therapy.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducts a nutrition assessment and obtains nutrition history from patient.

  • Plans therapeutic diets and establishes nutrition interventions

  • Instructs patients about dietary changes, and establishes goals and objectives to help meet the plan.

  • Evaluates nutritional care and provides follow-up continuity of care.

  • Documents consultations based on the nutrition care process.

  • Instructs patients and their families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection, and preparation.

  • Educates staff on nutrition and diet therapy.

Qualifications

What you contribute?

  • Requires a BA/BS; 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Registered dietitian required.

  • Bilingual Spanish Required.
