Senior Director, Marketing – Team Leader

Location: The selected candidate should be able to work Eastern or Central time-zone hours.

This leader will report to the CMO, Diversified Business Group (DBG), and be responsible for driving growth marketing and customer engagement initiatives for one or more business lines. He/she will be responsible for working within a matrixed organization to develop complex, comprehensive marketing plans and strategies across multiple marketing functions in conjunction with other marketing and business stakeholders to support targeted business objectives.

The successful candidate is a dynamic, resourceful leader who brings an entrepreneurial spirit to deliver marketing initiatives that drive results, persuade and influence others, and adapt to changing business conditions.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with business leaders to identify strategic priorities and translate them into high-impact marketing campaigns that drive growth, engage customers, and improve business outcomes.

  • Building, leading, and developing a high-performance team of product marketing, distribution marketing, branding, creative, and marketing communications professionals.

  • Distilling complex business concepts into clear, concise, and compelling value propositions, positioning, and messaging.

  • Driving strategic content creation and market execution for B2B and B2B2C (B2C) growth strategies to accelerate client and customer acquisition, retain profitable business and upsell/cross-sell to maximize customer lifetime value.

  • Championing a digital-first mindset and Omni-channel execution in collaboration with marketing teams across the enterprise.

  • Using customer data and market information to proactively identify and inform new opportunities to profitably grow the business.

  • Developing business cases to influence future marketing investments with a rigorous focus on delivering measurable ROI.

  • Creating operational rigor and repeatable processes, including implementing metrics and scorecards to monitor progress against goals.

  • Develops and recommends department operating budgets; reviews and revises financial reports, and prepares departmental statistics.

  • Prepares and presentations regarding marketing programs for senior management groups, by providing strategic and visionary leadership.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates the performance of direct reports.


  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or related field; 10 years of marketing & communications experience, including 5 years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Must have experience in health care or other highly regulated industries.

  • Requires previous experience managing a team of direct reports.

  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and managing sales, marketing, and/or business development functions.

Annual Salary Range*: $134,400 - 168,000

Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
