Location : Remote, Eastern States Preferred
Creative Director, Marketing Communications
As Creative Director you'll be a key marketing leader responsible for developing, managing, and enforcing exceptional and effective content and creative development efforts for our Commercial business. You’ll work closely with marketing partners to ensure strong creative content is delivered through insightful and compelling communications to promote the company's products and services.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Integrates multi-channel communication and direct response strategies to ensure that communication activity is appropriate and effective for campaign/market objectives.
Oversight of a team of writers & designers that will develop and execute a robust range of campaigns and content across multiple channels
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Create a best-in-class in-house capability that will serve the creative content needs across our Commercial line of business
Review work developed internally and by outside agencies to ensure work is on-strategy, compelling, and follows brand guidelines - consistent with brand voice, visual style, and tone
Ensures collaborative output and cost-effective solutions.
Work with Marketing Team(s) to understand their communication needs and collaborate with them to thoroughly understand their overall strategies/ Balances strategic development with business/client objectives and goals
Promote strong storytelling as a way to engage and interact with all audiences
Help create and manage our brand visual guidelines – continually evolving based on industry needs
Work with our internal Brand team to further evolve our standards
Ability to lead, coach, inspire, and motivate a team to create and deliver truly remarkable, influential, and impactful work
Train outside partners on brand guidelines– agencies, freelance support
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
6+ years’ experience in agency or in-house agency.
Experience working on B2C and B2B campaigns and content.
Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash/Animate, InDesign, Acrobat Pro are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field preferred.
Strong design portfolio.
Experience in interactive design management in an agency or product development environment, strong design portfolio.
Agency experience and/or health care knowledge preferred.
Proven experience in building innovative, proactive, high impact campaigns using all relevant channels and media.
Healthcare product/industry acumen.
Strong influencing skills.
Ability to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision.
Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communications skills.
Team oriented: ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams.
