Location: Indianapolis, IN-Hybrid opportunity

Responsible for managing the enterprise-wide efforts of Elevance Health CARES to ensure alignment with the corporate strategy, values and philanthropic wishes of Elevance Health associates.

How you will make an Impact;

  • Foundation and CARES operation and reporting

  • Technical support and implementation of customer relations management system

  • Administers associate engagement programs at the state level, includes (but isn’t limited to) matching gifts, associate giving campaign, Dollars for Doers and scholarship programs.

  • Facilitates relationships with nonprofits for Request for Proposals (RFPs) to address the needs of associates, members, and communities.

  • Program implementation and progress reporting.

  • Provides education to drive associate engagement and volunteer efforts. Identifies leadership training needs.

  • Assists in the management of national nonprofit partnerships and relationships

  • Develops, executes, and monitors opportunities to prepare associates and communities for emergencies by identifying nonprofit partners and resources to assist people navigate disaster/tragedy.

  • Mobilizes partners, necessary enterprise departments, and volunteer associates for response and recovery.

  • Shares in knowledge dissemination, reporting, and communications.

  • Partners in essential internal leadership activities (administration and organizational planning).

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related area; a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, associate involvement or leadership training; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Sophisticated knowledge of the health care industry strongly preferred

  • Understanding of 501c3 regulations

  • Nonprofit management experience/understanding

  • Grant knowledge a plus

  • Travel; up to 20% may be required
