Payment Innovation Director ll
Responsible for Payment Innovation business solution research, design, development, and conceptualizing innovative client engagement strategies around value proposition for Anthem value based payment solutions, validating and framing the sales story and return on investment for clients. . Responsible for understanding a diverse portfolio of payment innovation solutions and leading large, multi-stakeholder teams toward development of messaging strategy. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Drives external engagement and understanding of Anthem payment innovation strategies. Serves as client and client partner facing subject matter expert on payment innovation program charges and program mechanics/operations.
Supports communication of value-based strategy and portfolio to leadership across internal Anthem teams.
Ownership of client relations and stakeholder engagement tasks in end-to-end development of payment innovation programs, identifying key dependencies, mitigating risks and managing to time and scope requirements.
Performs complex market and competitive analysis, engages provider technical and clinical teams and Anthem cross functional teams, creates Value Based Payment sales story, writes responses to RFIs and RFPs, creates financial business case and ROI analysis for clients, works with other business partners to guide and support solution development, pilot and solution launch activities, and develops strategic roadmap's that drive business solutions.
Translates complex information and coordinates the communication and implementation of key decisions and accomplishments. Leads special projects/initiatives as needed. Represents the company in external meetings and provides influence in the payer and healthcare industry.
BA/BS in business or related field 12 years of experience in healthcare systems, and 8 years of experience in a strategy role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Previous experience leading or consulting on design and execution of Value Based Payment Models preferred. Previous payer, provider or client relations experience preferred.
Proficiency in MS Excel required
